Bramwell gallery

Art has always been at the heart of the school, with the first display being shown on the first open day in 1934. This tradition of showing students' work has continued ever since.

One of Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School's most prestigious events is the Student Art Exhibition at the Bramwell Gallery Space, in the contemporary surroundings of the Quentin Blake Building.

The evening has been a resounding success over the past 15 years. The evening includes a complimentary buffet and beverages. Our award winning Music Department entertain guests with a variety of musical arrangements in an informal atmosphere.

The gallery showcases inspired art pieces by our gifted A-Level and GCSE Art students featuring a diverse range of work; from contemporary installations and sculptures to large scale paintings, digital imaging and audio/visual. The Bramwell Gallery provides our students with the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional environment for the public.

Many of our students go on to attend some of the most prestigious art colleges in London such as Central St. Martins’ College, Slade, Goldsmiths and Camberwell College of Art to become the artists and designers of the future.
