The closure of the school in adverse weather conditions is a local decision in the light of the circumstances of the school. This decision will only be taken after the completion of a risk assessment and consultation between Senior Staff and the Chair of Governors.
The school website will be updated by 6.30am each day. Information will only be placed on the school website if the school is closed or partially closed.
No message means that the school is OPEN.
This form of communication is mainly for severe snow conditions, but can also be used when other emergencies occur that affect our ability to admit pupils [e.g. heating breakdown].
When alerts are in place, they will appear in the pinned box on the Home Page of the website (see image below).
