CSGS through to the regional finals of the Knight-Stokes Cup!

On Friday 12th June, Chis and Sid U15s team competed in the regional semi finals of the Barclays Knight Stokes County Cup. We played two games; our first game was against Invicta Grammar school. We won by 53 runs – Chis scoring 98-2, Invicta scoring 45-9.
In our second game of the day we faced Tonbridge Grammar School and it was incredibly close – could have gone either way. In the last over it came down to the last ball we needed to score 1 run to win. Tonbridge scored 68-3, Chis scored 69-3 meaning we won by 7 wickets!
Miss Evans said "It was a fantastic day of cricket and I couldn’t be prouder of the girls for their effort and achievement."
We have progressed onto the Regional Finals of the competition which is taking place on Monday 29th June!
