Arkwright Engineering Scholars 2025

Chis and Sid are proud to announce that two of our Year 11 students have been awarded Arkwright Engineering Scholarships this year.

This is the most esteemed scholarship of its type in the UK, designed to inspire students to pursue their dreams and change the world as an outstanding engineer of the future. The Scholarships are awarded to hard-working 16 year old students through a rigorous selection process.

Emma and Michal have become Chis and Sid’s 2nd and 3rd scholars in the history of the school!

They will attend the award ceremony in October and be assigned industry mentors. The scholarship programme will invite them to attend a number of networking events and courses and their mentors will support them through their A levels in Product Design, Physics, Maths and Computer Science, offering work experience and career support in the future.

Huge congratulations to them both and a big thank you to Chaerin, our current Arkwright Engineering Scholar in Year 13, for mentoring them through the process.
